   This wine has a variety of flavors. The flavor of Syrah/Shiraz depends on a growing climate. Warmer climate create more mellow flavors, while cooler climate will bring out spicy notes of the wine. The most known flavors of the wine include plum, blackberry, raspberry and black cherry as well as chocolate, mocha, licorice, peppery and smoked meat flavors.

   Bitter chocolate can be a good pair to Shiraz/Syrah wine as their match intensifies each other's flavor. But, in some more sweet wine varieties, milk chocolate with some adding of spiciness or fruits can be a well paired combination.
